Sin Nombre is a movie by Cary Jijo Fukunaga. It's a first movie but it won the best director award at Sundance and the Jury award at American film festival in Deauville. It is a beautiful, intelligent movie : violent, dense, dark. The photography is stunning. It shows once more that 35mm film is still the best.
The story of a gang member, a Marero in the Chiapas area who kills his gang leader to save a youg girl from a rape. He has to flee La Mara's revenge and share the fate of the migrants who climb on trains to try to cross the USA/Mexico border.
